Connect Dynamic Mockups to Trelium: Product Mockups From Every Quote Request

Trelium now integrates with Dynamic Mockups. Agents can take the artwork on a customer's quote request, turn it into product mockups, and bring the results back into the quote or proof, ready for a person to review.

Nothing to set up

Dynamic Mockups is built into Trelium. There is no account to create, no API key to paste in, and no credits to buy. Agents choose templates directly from a catalog of over a hundred products, so naming the product is enough.

Key Takeaways

  • Trelium agents turn customer artwork into product mockups and put them on the quote reply.
  • Dynamic Mockups is integrated directly, so there is no separate account, API key, or credit balance to manage.
  • Agents choose templates straight from a built-in catalog of over a hundred products, and your own uploaded templates work too.
  • A person reviews every reply before it reaches the customer, and nothing is released to production until someone confirms.

Why are mockups a workflow problem?

A mockup is rarely a one-off task. It sits in the middle of a chain: a customer emails a quote request, someone opens the attached logo, checks whether it is usable, places it on the right product in the right color, saves the image, and writes a reply. After approval, someone else rebuilds the artwork again as a production file.

Each step is small. Together they take up the first hour of every quote, and they are the reason a customer can wait a day to see their own logo on a shirt.

Dynamic Mockups handles the rendering. Trelium handles the work around it: reading the email, finding the artwork, choosing the template, saving the files, and drafting the reply.

What can Trelium agents do with Dynamic Mockups?

Here is what the integration handles, plus a few more workflows you can build on top. Each one starts from the artwork your team already receives with a quote request.

Instant mockups on quote replies

An agent reads an inbound quote request, identifies the products and the artwork, and places the logo on your product templates in the requested colors. It saves the mockups with the quote and drafts the reply with them attached.

A customer who asks for 200 polos and attaches a JPG logo gets a drafted reply minutes later, with the logo shown on the polo in navy and white. A rep reviews the draft and sends it.

When a customer replies "approved" on a mockup, an agent matches the approval to the job, pulls the approved artwork and the size it was approved at, and generates the print files through Dynamic Mockups. It saves them to the job folder, attaches them to the order, and notifies production.

More workflows you can build

  • Product image sets rendered across your chosen templates and colors once artwork is approved

Embroidery digitizing and DST files are not part of this launch. That workflow is still being improved and is not available to every account yet. We expect it in the next several weeks.

How does a person stay in the loop?

None of this sends files to a customer on its own. Blurry artwork, missing sizes, and products without a matching template are flagged to your team with the specific problem noted. Mockups go out only after a person approves the reply, and nothing is released to production until someone confirms.

The goal

Reps keep the customer relationship and the judgment calls. The repetitive rebuilding of the same preview goes away.

What do I need to get started?

Nothing on the Dynamic Mockups side. Trelium is integrated directly, so there is no account to create, no API key to paste in, and no credits to buy. You need two things:

  • A place to save the returned files, such as the quote, the job, or Google Drive
  • Your own mockup templates, only if you want artwork placed on products that are not already in the catalog

The built-in catalog covers over a hundred products: t-shirts, caps, hoodies, sweatshirts, polos, and bags from brands like Gildan, Bella + Canvas, Nike, Carhartt, Champion, and Port Authority. Agents pick from it directly, so a request for a Bella + Canvas 3000 is enough to get the right template without anyone configuring one first.

Frequently asked questions

How does Trelium use Dynamic Mockups?

Trelium agents send customer artwork to Dynamic Mockups and bring the returned files and images back into the quote or proof workflow, with a person reviewing before anything goes to the customer.

Can agents create DST files from customer art?

Not yet for every account. Embroidery digitizing and DST files are still being improved, and we expect them in the next several weeks. Product mockups are available now.

Which product templates can agents use?

Agents choose directly from a built-in catalog of over a hundred products, so naming the product is usually enough. You can also upload your own mockup templates and Trelium agents will place customer artwork on those.

Do we need our own Dynamic Mockups account?

No. The integration is direct, so there is no separate account, API key, or credit balance to manage.

See it in action

Browse the Dynamic Mockups integration page for the full list of workflows. If you want help setting it up for your shop, book a demo and we will walk through your quote flow.

The bottom line

Dynamic Mockups already produces the product mockups your shop needs, and it is now part of Trelium rather than one more tool to buy and wire up. Agents connect that output to the quote request and the reply, so your team spends its time reviewing and approving instead of rebuilding the same preview by hand.
